Beware of the spirit of Error! Scripture illuminates scripture. Two or three witnesses! The sum of thy word is truth! Go to the original languages! Precept must be upon precept! Meditating in the precepts. Discovering theology as opposed to inventing theology! Don’t use a paraphrase! Search the scriptures daily to see if those things are so! Take notes! Don’t take scriptures out of context! Know where you are on the covenantal time line! Commentaries are not equal with scripture!
